Performance cold air intake for BMW 328I. High‑flow reusable filter with full heat shield box, improve airflow & throttle response, direct bolt‑on upgrade.

Product Overview

Upgrade your BMW 328I with this complete cold air intake system. The restrictive factory air box limits incoming air volume and draws in hot under‑hood air, hurting engine performance. This cold air intake is equipped with a high‑flow reusable red conical air filter and full metal heat shield. The heat shield isolates the filter from high‑temperature engine‑bay heat, delivering denser cooler air into the engine. Enlarged intake tube reduces air flow resistance, brings improved throttle response, better engine sound and noticeable power gain. Pre‑drilled mounting holes match OEM positions for bolt‑on installation without cutting or drilling. A simple and cost‑effective performance modification for BMW 328I.

    FAQ

Q1: Will this cold air intake trigger check engine light?

A: Proper installation will not trigger CEL. Ensure all couplers are fully tightened to avoid vacuum leaks.

Q2: Do I need to tune ECU after installation?

A: Tuning is not mandatory. Tuning is recommended if you want to maximize horsepower improvement.

Q3: How often should I clean the air filter?

A: Clean every 15,000‑25,000 miles, depends on road and dust conditions. It is washable and reusable.

Q4: Does it work with stock MAF sensor?

A: Yes, it reserves the factory MAF sensor mounting port for original sensor installation.

Q5: Can I finish installation at home?

A: Basic hand tools are sufficient. Professional garage installation is recommended for perfect sealing.
